Chairlady's Welcome

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for allowing me to be your Centre Chairman for the coming year.

As I start my first year, I am quite nervous, as I am out of my comfort zone, and to follow Lawrie will be a big task.  I would like to thank Lawrie & Janet for their time and leadership of the centre for the past three years.

Many of you will already know me, but there will be some that may be new to the centre or do not rally very often, that I have either not met or even spoken to, so I have added a little bit about who I am.

Andy & I have been members of the club and centre for 27 years, and rallied with our children when they were younger, now it is just the two of us. We have been on some fantastic rallies during this time, both at home and abroad in France & Spain, and have made many friends as well as many good memories, and I hope that this will continue for many years.

I would like to thank; Colin, for his time putting together our rally programme for the coming year, I know how much work goes into this; Andy, for maintaining our website and collating the rally book and getting it ready to print and to Martin for printing it.  Lastly, I welcome the other members of our committee, and thank them for their willingness to stand for the coming year.

Finally as we approach the end of 2025 with just a few, but brilliant rallies to go, we look forward to our 2026 programme, with some new and favourite venues to visit, friendship's that will continue grow and the new ones yet to be made.
